DIVERSITY: Seminar on creating productive, inclusive environments
        (AlbertaIndex, April 17, Tuesday) --- The Conference Board has found that few organizations have turned their stated commitments of building an inclusive workforce into tangible action.         The board will present its “Report on Diversity: Priorities, Practices and Performance in Canadian Organizations” at the Diversity Seminar today at The Westin Calgary, 320 4th Ave. SW. The seminar, which starts 8.15 am, will focus on best practices for creating diverse and inclusive work environments.
       
Judith L. MacBride-King, Principal of MacBride-King and Associates, will present “The Why, What and How of Creating Inclusive Work Environments.”
        Susan Williams, Assistant Deputy Minister, Workforce Supports for the Alberta Employment, Immigration and Industry, will discuss how the government is addressing the integration of underrepresented groups into the province’s workforce, at 9 am.
        They will be followed at 10 am by a panel of executives from leading organizations who will share their strategies for creating more inclusive work environments.
        The seminar is sponsored by Alberta Employment, Immigration and Industry.
