AGRICULTURE: Skills training programme expanded in southern Alberta
(AlbertaIndex, June 20, Friday) --- If you’re living in southern Alberta and want to develop your farming skills and income, go check out Execuserv plus inc. The agency has been appointed to administer the Canadian Agricultural Skills Service (CASS) program immediately through to next March 31.
CASS helps Alberta farmers and their spouses develop skills to improve farm practices and increase their income potential. CASS could help new and established farm families enhance their income by developing new skills in an increasingly complex business environment, capture new opportunities in agriculture or develop off-farm income.

Farm families could access formal training such as college courses or informal training like short-term workshops or courses.

Those interested in enrolling in CASS should contact Execuserv plus inc in Lethbridge at 403-320 5604 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

CASS is delivered in partnership by Employment and Immigration, Agriculture and Rural Development, and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Information on CASS eligibility requirements is available at employment.alberta.ca/cass.

CASS’s program will make up to $13 million available to Alberta farmers and their families over the next three years to help cover the costs of training, books and course fees.
