ECONOMY: Alberta, BC sign four agreements to forge closer bonds, boost competitiveness

            (AlbertaIndex, May 18, Friday) --- Alberta and British Columbia signed four agreements today, including Memorandums of Understanding to share emergency response resources and to develop new ways to ensure the best value for taxpayer dollars through public-private partnerships. The agreements were announced by Premiers Ed Stelmach and Gordon Campbell at end of the fifth annual Alberta-BC joint Cabinet meeting.
